AprilAire has been a trusted leader in whole-home indoor air quality solutions for over 70 years. But in a category driven by specs, features, and technical jargon, there was an opportunity to modernize the brand narrative and differentiate in a crowded content landscape.
Most homeowners think they understand indoor air quality, yet the air inside the home impacts far more than comfort. It affects sleep, respiratory health, mental clarity, childhood development, and even the longevity of the home itself.
The challenge was to bridge the gap between perception and reality—elevating Healthy Air from a technical product category to a clear, competitive, and emotionally resonant brand platform.

THE CHALLENGE
We set out to educate audiences by reframing Healthy Air as a transformative force homeowners can take control of, all while building a cohesive messaging ecosystem designed to scale across channels.
B2C Audience: Developed new messaging and seasonal campaign strategy rooted in the Power of Healthy Air messaging, implemented SEO best practices to strengthen discoverability, refined brand voice guidelines to ensure consistency, and created monthly social media planners designed to educate and drive engagement through social-first storytelling.
B2B + B2B2B Audiences: Developed messaging across partner communications and seasonal campaign content that laddered back to the overarching messaging. Brainstormed storytelling approaches to strengthen partner alignment, created email marketing and paid social creatives to drive traffic to ‘Find a Pro’ landing page, and helped balance emotional clarity with technical credibility to equip partners with a stronger, more differentiated value proposition.

By shifting the focus from technical specifications to lived outcomes, the campaign repositioned AprilAire as a brand centered on wellbeing—not just the products. The Power of Healthy Air modernized how the brand shows up in a crowded landscape, replacing isolated seasonal messaging with a cohesive story ecosystem that connected objectives to platforms, formats, and distribution. Social-first thinking ensured discovery and engagement happened where audiences already are, without sacrificing depth or credibility.
